Michele Casey has been studying Traditional West African music since 1991 under several Master djembe teachers from Senegal, Guinea, Mali, and Gambia. She has performed with several performance troops in Oregon, Washington, California and Idaho.

In 1997 Michele began her training in Earth Shamanism. Understanding the rhythmic nature of the Earth, Michele weaves her understanding of Spirit truths with the tribal heartbeat connection of the drum.
